Located on the central western side of West
Virginia, in Jackson County, we are dedicated to
raising quality RARE breeds of livestock,
with minimal inputs. America is slowly losing the
genetic heritage livestock breeds that our
pioneer ancestors developed in order to survive.
As members of the American Livestock Breeds
Conservancy, we believe that this genetic
"Preserving America's Rare Breed Heritage"
diversity should be maintained and
preserved.
We currently raise Myotonic Goats, (also known as
Tennessee Fainting Goats, Nervous Goats,
etc.), Delaware and Buckeye
standard sized chickens, and Wheaton Old English Bantam chickens,
Pearl Guineas and Maremma Sheepdog
Livestock Guardian dogs. The goats are in
the Threatened (or rare) category which is one step above critical,
and the standard chicken breeds are
considered Critical, since these breeds are among the top 5 most
endangered breeds in the
country. We also occasionally have Toy Rat Terriers for sale.
We
sell grass-fed beef and chevon locally.
